How Oracle Exchange Uses XML
Exchange - Supplier XML

The following is the XML document that is sent from Exchange to supplier:

XML Messaging Services

Oracle can send and receive key OAG compliant XML documents with other leading ERP vendors using XML Messaging Services.

Oracle XML Messaging Services is a tool that enables the production and consumption of valid, well-formed XML messages between Oracle e-Business suite and trading partners. XML Messaging Services enables application interoperability and integration supporting enterprise integration requirements driven by Business-to-Business (B2B) and Application to Application (A2A) integration requirements. XML Messaging Services is the core technology used for sending and receiving OAG compliant XML documents to trading partners in Oracle Exchange.

XML Messaging Services features include the following:

  • Provides a single, consistent XML-based application integration tool
  • Provides a repository based, design time user interface for message mapping and creation and a run-time engine for message processing

  • Supports event driven message processing to parallel enterprise and trading partner business processes

  • Supports an open, standards independent message development approach

  • Provides pre-built XML messages conforming to the OAGI specifications

  • Provides message validation based on a specified DTD, file, or XML Schema

  • Supports rule-based exception processing

  • Integration to Oracle Advanced Queueing (AQ) for placing outgoing and extracting incoming messages

XML Message Designer and Runtime Execution Engine

The Message Designer is a Java user interface that allows quick and easy creation of XML Messaging Maps which can be loaded into the XML Messaging Services repository.

Generating XML that Conforms to New Schema

You can use XSQL Servlet to produce an XML document with a structure which reflects your database schema. As you define or adopt XML schemas for various categories of data (such as timeseries ML, News ML, FpML) you also need to be able to generate XML that conforms to these schemas.

How can you generate standard XML industry schemas?

You can use the following methods to help you generate XML industry schemas:

    • XML Messaging Services. This is part of Oracle Exchange and is not a stand alone component.
  • XSLT stylesheets. These are useful for structural transformation, but not so good for content, such as unique ids, xrefs, and so on. Various tools allow you to write stylesheets, but they are all not much more than enhanced editors. Generation, repositories, and so on are not readily available.

  • Specialized transformation tools, such as Mercator and Constellar. These costly tools have drag and drop capability and support wizard-based development.

Pre built xml formats for essays

So a blog reader, Sebastien. once asked about built-in style numbers used in Open XML for Excel. I’m sorry to break the news to you. It’s not straightforward to use those built-in styles.

What are these built-in styles? Check these out:

For instance, Sebastien was asking how to use the “Good” and “Bad” built-in styles. So the good news is, you can use those named styles. The bad news is, the various style effects (font colour, background colour, borders) aren’t automatically added in for you. From the Microsoft documentation of CellStyle :

This element represents the name and related formatting records for a named cell style in this workbook.

Annex H contains a listing of cellStyles whose corresponding formatting records are implied rather than explicitly saved in the file. In this case, a builtinId attribute is written on the cellStyle record, but no corresponding formatting records are written.

For all built-in cell styles, the builtinId determines the style, not the name. For all cell styles, Normal is applied by default.

Read the second paragraph again. It means even if you use the built-in style “Good”, you still need to create a style with the green background and green text font colour.

Since this is the case, I suggest you just stick to creating your own custom styles. It’s what’s going to happen anyway.

Now there is a magic number, 164. Your custom styles will start being numbered from 164 onwards. This implies there are 164 built-in styles (0-indexed). My search efforts only gave me a partial list.

Please refer to the ECMA-376 documentation for Office Open XML formats. Download the 1st edition, part 4. Inside, you’ll find a PDF. Turn to page 2135 (as of this writing. It’s page 2128 on the PDF itself though). You’ll find this:

That list is probably that of “standard” styles. From reading the next few pages of the documentation, I believe most of those 164 built-in styles are due to internationalisation issues.

So my conclusion is, for the “standard” built-in styles you’re interested in, you still have to create the supporting style effects (font colour, background colour and the like). For the “non-standard” built-in styles, they are probably different based on the localisation of your Excel file. So you’re better off just creating your own custom styles, which I teach you how here and here. Or you can get my programming guide for detailed explanations and source code .

How to convert - EDI format messages to XML

    Currently Being Moderated

I will tell you something about Seeburger Adapters in detail,

Seeburger EDI Adapter provides an EDI solution on internet via HTTP or AS2 to replace the expensive VAN. It provides some pre-built mappings for IDOC to ANSI X12(810,850,855,856 etc.,) and Idoc to EDIFACT(ORDERS,DESADV,INVOIC etc.,) and has the ability to build your own. These pre-defined mappings transform the IDOC-XML to EDI-XML format.

These transformed EDI-XML messages are then converted to EDI specific format using the Seeburger's BIC(Business Integration Converter)adapter. In addition, Seeburger provides adapters like AS2,FTP(EDI specific) and so on to route these EDI messages to external EDI Partners.

Seeburger EDI Adapter leverages SAP XI's Adapter Framework. This Adapter is used to perform conversion between EDI and XML format. It also provides some canned EDI layouts and the ability to build your own. It is used to transfer the EDI message via HTTP or AS2 protocols.

The most direct way of using the Seeburger adapters is to configure the BIC as a module. There is a software component from seeburger called bicmapper which will allow you to do the following:

    1. define or import the inbound message metadefinition in various formats ( edifact, xml. )

    2. using a mapping create an xml variant as the output metadefinition or edifact in the other direction.

    3. create a one to one mapping between input en output.

    4. export the metadata in xsd or sda format for import in XI

    5. generate an SDA which can be deployed in XI and used as a module.

Please go through the following links which clearly explains what you want and it also helps you in understanding the same in depth:

OpenELEC Mediacenter - OpenELEC Forum - prebuilt form factor choices (1

well I purchased a zotac ad04, it is on it's way and I am already regretting the decision as I do more and more research. I might end up sending it back in favor of something else.

I am hunting for a prebuilt/barebones box, the most I'd like to do is add RAM and HDD. Obviously trying to minimize cost.

So there are 3 different types of units I am considering (all should be able to do 1080p video)
    1) One that can do 1080p 3D video, true HD audio, and HDMI audio passthrough
    2) One that can do true HD audio and HDMI audio passthrough
    3) One that can do analog audio (or preferably SPDIF)

true HD audio seems to rule out the AMD video card based systems (which means my yet to arrive zotac AD04. boo hoo). I've also seen on the xbmc wiki "HD Audio on some Intel platforms requires Kernel 3.7 and newer or with a patch compiled in." Are these included in openelec 3RC1? Does that mean nvidia systems are the only ones that can do HD audio out of the box?

what about HDMI audio passthrough? do AMD systems also have issues with this? what about Intel?

Aside from all the audio/video output questions, a responsive xbmc interface is also a concern, as well as support for streaming flash video and all streaming video. If a system can handle 1080p does that mean it can also handle anything streaming from online as well?

I was hoping the Zotac ZBOX-ID82-U would fit the bill as the top of line machine, but now I am wondering if the Intel video will be ok out of the box for true HD audio and HDMI audio passthrough.

So I am looking for prebuilt recommendations for all 3 of these categories. And for category #3, I am wondering if SPDIF is worth having at all.

I have spent the most time looking at all the different zotac models, but I am open to other vendors. I just want the cheapest options that will work as close to perfectly out of the box as possible. I am a linux guy and I don't mind doing some tweaking on the initial setup. but I don't want to then worry about autoupdates breaking my customizations, and I don't want to use an unsupported build because I do want long term autoupdates.
